Jemez Hot Springs

A privately owned commercial Hot Springs, the therapeutic water on this property originates from beneath the Valles Caldera National Preserve about 17 miles up the mountain. Long ago, ancient sea water was trapped on the mountain and became infused with various minerals over eons of time. This is one of the reasons that the water here in the village of Jemez Springs is so special. There are four therapeutic mineral water pools of varying temperatures with built-in seating. Pool temperatures are maintained at a comfortable 98-105 degrees Fahrenheit. No reservations – first come first served.
