Pueblo of Sandia

The complex history of the Sandia Pueblo resulted in nearly a complete loss of Native Artistry as part of the ongoing Pueblo culture and artistic revivals have not succeeded.  However the Pueblo is home to the largest Native Art retail store in the Southwest, The Bien Mur Indian Market.  The kiva-shaped showroom, located in Bien Mur, has been an Albuquerque area landmark since 1975. Through the years, Bien Mur Indian Market Center has continued to maintain a reputation for offering quality, authentic, handmade Native American arts & crafts.
