R. C. Gorman Navajo Gallery, Taos

Founded as the first Native American owned gallery in 1968 by Navajo painter R.C. Gorman, this gallery, among others, was purchased as part of the R.C. Gorman Estate by Bob Sahd a few years after Gorman’s death in 2005.  In addition to the Taos Gallery, the Sahd Family owns several other galleries, and the La Fonda de Taos hotel. George Sahd founded the Ranchos Trading Post in 1938.  The gallery offers artworks by the prolific R. C. Gorman including Originals, Lithographs, Acrylic Paintings, Oils, Pastels, Woodcuts, Bronzes, and Ceramics.
