San Estaban Feast Day-Harvest Dances, Pueblo of Acoma
San Estaban is the patron saint of the Pueblo of Acoma and the Feast Day begins with a Mass in the San Estevan de Ray Mission Church in the Sky City plaza, followed by traditional dances and festive foods. Constructed mid-17th Century, the mission church is the oldest surviving European Church in New Mexico and is a National Historic Landmark. While still a working mission church in the parish of San Jose’ de la Laguna it is used for worship services primarily on Holidays and Feast Days. Always Call the Pueblo to confirm Dances and times.
