Spaces of Relation: Making Place in Motion

The Balzer Gallery at the Institute for American Indian Arts brings together artists, scholars, and culture bearers from Indigenous communities across North America, Central Asia, and Asia, to explore how knowledge, memory, and community are shaped through movement, relationship, and collective presence. Through art, research, conversation, sound, video, textiles, and objects in use, Spaces of Relation reimagines the gallery as a living environment for gathering, exchange, & shared learning.
