At the Native Owned Duende Gallery in Galisteo, this contemporary print show brings together eighteen artists who have collaborated with Tamarind Institute to examine the social, racial, and political conditions defining their time. Working across generations and mediums, these artists approach printmaking not merely as a tool to create images as multiples, but as a means to question and rework established systems of power. Prints and posters have, since the earliest days of printing, played a powerful role in defining political agendas and moving systems toward change.
The Duende Gallery is open from Noon – 6 PM on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, or by appointment.
