Ancestral Symbols, Modern Masterpieces at Adobe Gallery, Santa Fe
Adobe Gallery Celebrates its 50th Anniversary with an exhibit of profound spiritual and historic narratives of the Hope People through a selection of paintings by the revolutionary collective, “artist Hopid.” Established in 1973 by Michael Kabotie, Delbridge Honanie and Neil David, Sr. the group expanded to include Terrance Talaswaima and Millan Lomakame. The movement fundamentally redefined the trajectory of modern Hopi art from ancient iconography to contemporary expression.

There will be a reception and curators talk on August 7, from 4-7 pm.
