Manitou Galleries

Manitou Galleries and Legacy Gallery have locations on Palace Avenue just off the Santa Fe plaza and on Santa Fe’s Canyon Road. The galleries offer collections of traditional and contemporary representational paintings, sculpture, Native American and fine jewelry, shown by an experienced and knowledgeable staff.

Manitou was established in 1975 in Cheyenne, Wyoming by Robert Nelson. Through his appreciation of art and antiques he worked to build a strong, credible reputation as a fine art and historic collectible resource to collectors worldwide. The Santa Fe location opened in 2001 and expanded to Canyon Road in 2011.

On September 1st, 2021 Manitou changed ownership to Brad and Jinger Richardson. The Richardsons have owned their own gallery, Legacy Gallery in Scottsdale, AZ, since 1988.
